Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has arrived in Kisumu for the Gala Awards for the 94th Kenya Music Festival.
Rigathi who was accompanied by Education CS George Magoha was received by Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o on arrival at the Kisumu International Airport.
The DP was also been accompanied by Kisumu East MP Shakeel Shabbir.
This is the first time the DP was visiting the lakeside city since his election at the August 9 general election.
The gala event is being held at the Kisumu Girls High School.
