One of the biggest schools in the Coastal region has reportedly been rocked by a sex scandal. Its reported that about four teachers are going out with female students, ruining the lives of the young girls. Sources said that on Friday, the school principal had to convene a meeting with the male teachers to have the matter addressed. So entrenched is the vice that even the head of disciplinary is allegedly dating and living with a student who is apparently the school head girl. In fact, some teachers are said to be so shameless that they post their pictures with the girls on social media. A female who was reportedly going out with a colleague had to abandon him for this wayward behaviour. The teacher even dumped the teaching profession and is out of the country, now working in the aviation industry.

A senior state official who has been on the spot over his performance could soon be in trouble again. A group of legislators are baying for his blood after he allegedly hired keyboard warriors to attack them online. In the last two weeks, the lawmakers have been the subject of social media attack for allegedly questioning the official’s credentials to run the crucial docket. There are reports the attacks were sponsored by the man. The MPs are squarely blaming him for hiring bloggers to malign them. They are now planning to push for the official to be summoned to Parliament.

An opposition MPs who has been bragging that he doesn't need his party or party leader to recapture his parliamentary seat is now feeling the heat. Why? One of the party honchos has shelved his ambition for a big seat and would be facing him for the job. Those in the know say it would be a battle royale which the wealthy first term lawmaker has little chance of winning. His critics are said to be reciting a popular song in that region that all those opposed to the boss “must be returned home”.

Ugly scenes were last week witnessed on Lagos Road in the Nairobi CBD between traffic officers and the county traffic marshalls. The officers went for each others’ throats in full glare of the public. Reason? They were reportedly fighting to control matatus accessing CBD. The officers were scrambling to hang onto matatus where they allegedly extort bribes. Apparently, the more matatus you control the more bribes you collect thus the bitter fight. Those in the know say this has been the case for a long time, with some openly asking why the city police boss and the leadership of the county are yet to act.
