Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu is set to release the highly anticipated 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results on Thursday.
Candidates, their parents, and guardians can access the results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices and their respective schools.
For the SMS option, the candidates should send their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 40054 in order to access the results.
"Parents and candidates can get their KCPE results by sending the' results by sending their index number to code 40054. The SMS will be charged at Sh25."
The SMS platform is available for all mobile networks and will be charged Sh25 each.
This year, the council registered 1.4 million candidates compared to 1.2 million in 2022.
Also, this is the last year candidates will sit the KCPE exams as the ministry works on phasing out the 8-4-4 curriculum.
