Kenya Power has restored electricity in all the areas that were affected by outages on Friday morning.
Several parts of the country were hit by a major blackout on Friday morning.
Kenya Power and Lighting Company said the outage affected an entire part of the country except the North Rift and Western regions.
By Friday evening, the power company reported that the electricity had been restored in all the areas that were affected.
"We are glad to report that normal electricity supply was restored across the country as of 3:49 pm," Kenya Power said in a statement.
Kenya Power apologised to Kenyans for any inconvenience caused and thanked the customers for their patience.
They further urged Kenyans who might have related queries to contact them through USSD Code *977# or call 97771 for any other service-related enquiries.
The outage comes barely a week after another outage hit several parts of the country.
The Friday night blackout hit various parts of the country except the North Rift region and sections of the Western Region
