Police are looking for a gang that raided a home in Migosi, Kisumu County and stabbed a woman in a robbery incident.
The woman was sleeping with her family on Wednesday morning when the gang raided, police said.
Police say the gang broke into the house causing commotion before they stabbed the woman.
According to police, the perpetrators forced their way through two doors, and one assailant, wielding a kitchen knife, stabbed Rebecca multiple times on her chest, right hand, and left cheek.
They stole assorted goods valued at approximately Sh. 250,000.
Police say the assailants fled to an unknown destination.
The victim was rushed to JOORH for medical treatment and is in fair condition.
Police officers visited the scene and necessary action was taken.
A hunt on the group is ongoing and the case is under investigation.
