Three universities across the country have advertised several vacant positions, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for opportunities in teaching, administration and support services, while also opening procurement opportunities for suppliers.
Advertisements published in MyGov on Tuesday show that Maasai Mara University, Kibabii University and Rongo University are seeking applicants for various positions and opportunities.
Maasai Mara University has advertised vacancies in its Academic and Student Affairs Division and the Administration, Finance and Strategy Division.
The university is seeking to recruit a professor in Hospitality Management, senior lecturers in Urban and Regional Planning, Hospitality Management and Religion, as well as lecturers in Strategic Management, Visual Impairment, Physical Handicap, Biology Education, Kiswahili, Veterinary Medicine, Tourism, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Agriculture.
Under the Administration, Finance and Strategy Division, the university is looking to fill positions including Deputy Chief Counsellor, Senior Medical Officer, Executive Secretary I, Internal Auditor I and Accountant II.
The university said detailed information on duties, responsibilities and minimum requirements for the advertised positions can be obtained from its website.
Applications must reach the Vice-Chancellor, Maasai Mara University, on or before 5 pm on July 13, 2026.
The institution encouraged applications from persons with disabilities, women, youth and members of marginalised communities.

The university also warned applicants against attempting to influence the recruitment process.
“Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification,” the notice stated.
Kibabii University has also advertised vacancies in both teaching and administrative categories.
The university is seeking a Lecturer or Research Fellow in Theatre, Anaesthesia, Renal or Critical Care, as well as a Lecturer or Research Fellow in Microbiology.
Administrative vacancies include Registrar for Administration and Human Resources, Clinical Instructor or Technologist III in Nursing and Driver I.
The university directed interested applicants to its website for comprehensive details regarding qualifications, requirements and application deadlines.
“Kibabii University is an equal opportunity employer. Women, marginalized and persons living with disabilities are encouraged to apply,” the institution said in the advertisement.
Meanwhile, Rongo University has invited eligible and qualified applicants to apply for registration as suppliers for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 financial years.
The opportunity covers the registration of suppliers for goods, works and services and is open to both general applicants and those under the Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) programme.
Interested applicants can obtain registration documents through the Public Information Portal and the university website.
Applicants under AGPO have been asked to complete the AGPO supplier registration form, indicate their preferred categories and attach a valid AGPO certificate.
The university said all applicants must provide their e-GP System registration number.
Applications for supplier registration must be submitted by 11 am on July 7, 2026.
Rongo University further announced that a sensitisation programme for registered AGPO suppliers will be conducted on July 15, 2026, from 10 am.
