Four children whose lives were cut short by a tragic fire incident in their home at Gakoingo Village in Muranga County.


Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his spouse, Pastor Dorcas Gachagua, visited Gakoingo Village in Murang’a County to console families who lost their loved ones in a tragic fire incident.


The blaze claimed the lives of four young lives: Mercy Njeri Nyaga, Emma Wairimu, Leah Wanjira, and Jesinta Muthoni.


During the visit, Gachagua recited Psalms 34:17-18, offering hope and comfort to the grieving families.


The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit,” he quoted, adding that the tragedy is incomprehensible but called for trust in God’s eternal grace.


Accompanied by Pastor Dorcas, he prayed for the affected families, urging them to find solace in God’s promises.


Gachagua expressed his deepest sympathies on behalf of his family, stating,


"I send my deepest sympathies to you in your grief with my family during this difficult. May the Souls of the little angels rest in eternal peace and perpetual light shine upon them forever," the former DP said.
