KPLC: Areas in Nairobi, Nyeri, Embu scheduled for power cuts Tuesday

Kenya Power has listed areas in three counties scheduled for power interruption on Tuesday.

The power interruption will occur between 9 am and 5 pm in the different counties.

Kenya Power said the power interruption is to facilitate system maintenance 

The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Nyeri and Embu.

Nairobi

Areas will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

They include Kasarani Stadium, Regional Centre of Mapping of Resources, Little Sisters, Safaricom Data Centre, Conso/Central Glass Company and  adjacent customers.

At the same time areas including St Thomas Seminary, Magadi Road, Bogani East Road, Park View, Simba Hill, Kisembe, Safe Park, Kipevu, Banda, Ndorobo, Catholic University, KWS, Langata Barracks, Jambo East, Phenom East, Phenom park, Doroty Park, Daisy Park, Carnivore, Muiri Lane, Cale, Samaj, Shree Cutch, Westpark Police Line, GK Prisons, Ngei 1 & 2, Otiende Est, Onyonka, Royal Park, Akiba Langata, Southlands, Uhuru Gardens, Park East, Royal Park and KMA NHC Langata.

Other areas are Karen C Primary and Secondary, Hill Crest, Fair Acres, Light Academy, Silanga Rd, Marist University, Kuwinda Est, Mukinduri, Murishu, Mokoyet East and West, Langata North Road, Academy Road, Kufuga Road, Langata South Road, Bogani Road, Ndovu Road, Ndalat JKUAT, Kasuku Road, Silanga Road, Muiri Road, CITAM Karen, Galleria Shopping Mall, Water Mark and Nyumba Moja Road.

Parts of Kibera will also experience power cuts at the same time.

They are Soweto Academy, Olympic East, Olympic Primary and Secondary, Gatwekera, SOFCO, Karanja Road, Fort Jesus, Makina, Kibera Law Court and Raila East.

Nyeri

Parts of Nyeri will experience power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

The areas are Sagana State Lodge, Iruri Market, Kiganjo Fisheries, Karandi Market, Mutaga Market, Sagana Village, Iganjo village, Safaricom Boosters and Airtel Boosters.

Other areas include Karundas, Maragima, Gatei, Mbiriri, Mapema, Samaria, Thegu Resort and Tagwa.

Embu

Parts of Embu will experience power cuts from 9am to 4pm.

They are part of Embu Town, Moffas Building, Embu College, Dallas East, Dallas Shopping Centre, Kanjuru East, Kenster Hardware, Irangi Food Processing, Ngariama, Mini Inn, Tangier, Embu PGH, Embu Urban Primary School, Part of Shauri Market and County Government Offices.
