The lawmakers are resuming to a packed agenda in both Houses.

Infotrak to release County Performance Index
Research firm InfoTrak is set to unveil the CountyTrak™ Performance Index.
Developed in 2014, the performance index is a unique tool designed to measure county governments’ performance on the devolved functions.
The index serves as a citizen scorecard, providing an objective assessment of the performance of the county governments.
The fifth edition of the index was conducted between October and December 2024, involving a robust sample size of 39,795 respondents, and covering all 47 counties, 290 constituencies, and 1,450 wards.
It will shed light on the best-performing counties per devolved function, the most improved counties per devolved function and the best-performing counties overall.
Safer Internet Day, 2025
The Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) will today join the world in marking the Safer Internet Day.
This year's theme, "Empowering Digital Transformation: Amplifying Technical Tools for a Safer Online World," underscores the critical role of digital solutions in ensuring online safety for all.
The event is an annual global occasion aimed at promoting safer and more responsible use of digital technology.
Today's will feature key industry players who will share insights on fostering a secure digital space.
Representatives from technology service providers of Kenya (TESPOK), Jamii Telkom, Safaricom PLC, AmCham Airtel Kenya Ltd, Google, Telkom Kenya and Meta will attend the event to be at the Sarova Panafric.
CAK will use the opportunity to give an update on the Authority's Child Online Protection and Safety Programme.
Scientific and health conference
Health Cabinet Secretary Debra Mulongo Barasa will officially open the 15th, KEMRI Annual Scientific & Health Conference (KASH).
The theme of the conference is Research Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Health Systems; A Community-driven Agenda.
The week-long conference will be held at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.
Today's meeting is designated as the pre-conference day, focusing on ‘Precision’ (‘Personalized’) medicine with the theme, "Unveiling Kenya’s precision medicine: strengthening disease management through Targeted Therapy."
During the event, the Institute will significantly launch three transformative initiatives: the KEMRI Precision Medicine Centre of Excellence (PM CoE), Precision Medicine (PM) Kenya’s Task Force-Think Tank that will facilitate leadership and collaborative engagement in this dynamic field and the KEMRI Strategic Plan 2024-2028, a blueprint that charts the Institute’s course for advancing research excellence and improving healthcare outcomes.
