Kenya Power has called on Kenyans to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to scams.
Kenya Power said customers can purchase tokens through banks channels.

Kenya Power has announced that it is still experiencing a delay in delivering tokens purchased through Mpesa Paybill 888880.
Kenyans attempting to purchase Kenya Power tokens via Safaricom’s M-Pesa are currently unable to do so.
To address the challenge, Kenya Power advised its customers
to purchase tokens through other channels.
It said Kenyans can buy tokens through the Cooperative Bank of Kenya, Equity Bank, Family Bank, KCB, National Bank of Kenya and NCBA.
For those wishing to buy tokens through the Cooperative Bank, Kenya Power said they do it via MCo-opCash App/Web or USSD *667#.
It added that for Equity Bank they could do it via USSD *247#, Equitel, Equity Mobile App/Online, Eva Chatbot or EazzyBiz.
For Family Bank customers, it is the PesaPap Mobile App, USSD *325# or Family Bank Website while KCB it is the KCB Mobile Banking App, KCB iBank App, Vooma Mobile App, USSD *522# or *844#.
It added that National Bank of Kenya customers can buy tokens via NBK Mobile App, USSD *625# or NBK Epay Internet Banking while NCBA clients can do it via NCBA NOW App or USSD *488# or NCBА Connect Online Banking.
“Our team is working to resolve the issue affecting our Mpesa Paybill 888880. We will issue an update once this is concluded,” Kenya Power said in a statement.
The company apologised to its customers for any inconvenience caused and thanked them for their patience.
Kenya Power does have alternative digital payment platforms, including Equitel, Airtel Money and commercial banks.
Customers have been failing to receive recently purchased
tokens and others encountering error messages.
