The Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) on Monday formalized
a strategic alliance with the Management University of Africa (MUA) through the
signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
IHRM Executive Director CHRP Quresha Abullahi and MUA Vice
Chancellor Prof. Washington Okeyo signed the MoU on behalf of the two organizations.
The MoU, signed at IHRM office in Nairobi, establishes a framework for collaborative initiatives between the two institutions.
“The alliance will focus on advancing mutual interests
across several areas, including scholarly research and professional capacity
enhancement through structured Continuing Professional Development programs, “Abdullahi
said.
Additionally, the partnership envisions coordinating joint academic and industry events while spearheading innovative approaches within the Leadership and Human Resource Management disciplines.
Both organizations
anticipate heightened institutional prominence and expanded influence through
their combined efforts.
“This formal collaboration positions IHRM and MUA to make significant contributions to workplace practices and standards while providing enhanced educational pathways and professional growth opportunities for human resource practitioners and other professionals,” Okeyo noted.
