The Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) on Monday formalized a strategic alliance with the Management University of Africa (MUA) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

IHRM Executive Director CHRP Quresha Abullahi and MUA Vice Chancellor Prof. Washington Okeyo signed the MoU on behalf of the two organizations.

The MoU, signed at IHRM office in Nairobi, establishes a framework for collaborative initiatives between the two institutions.

“The alliance will focus on advancing mutual interests across several areas, including scholarly research and professional capacity enhancement through structured Continuing Professional Development programs, “Abdullahi said.

Additionally, the partnership envisions coordinating joint academic and industry events while spearheading innovative approaches within the Leadership and Human Resource Management disciplines.

 Both organizations anticipate heightened institutional prominence and expanded influence through their combined efforts.

“This formal collaboration positions IHRM and MUA to make significant contributions to workplace practices and standards while providing enhanced educational pathways and professional growth opportunities for human resource practitioners and other professionals,” Okeyo noted.
