Youth PS Fikirini Jacobs receives Huawei delegation on April 29, 2025 [FIKIRINI JACOBS/FB]Youth Affairs PS Fikirini Jacobs on Tuesday hosted a delegation from Huawei.
The delegation was led by Media and Government Director Madam Khadija Mohamed and Director of Public Affairs Yuta Leng.
According to Jacobs, the meeting explored potential areas for partnership in youth empowerment and creative economy.
The PS lauded the ICT company's contribution towards offering innovative digital solutions and its ongoing involvement in several key tech-driven projects.
He acknowledged that the company has inspired an entrepreneurial spirit among the youth in the country.
"It was inspiring to hear about the innovative solutions and several key projects that Huawei is spearheading in Kenya to expand youth involvement and participation," Fikirini said.
"We explored the areas of innovative partnership opportunities that aim to amplify youth engagement in tech-driven projects."
Hw added that the ongoing programmes by Huawei would provide practical experiences to the youth.
