EACC HEADQUARTERSThe Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested an official from Nyamira County over alleged graft linked to the loss of Sh30 million in the construction of an office block.
According to EACC, investigations indicate that the alleged irregularities relate to the award of a construction tender, in alleged violation of procurement laws.
The Commission says it is pursuing other suspects believed to be linked to the case as the probe continues.
The case forms part of ongoing efforts by the anti-corruption body to address alleged misuse of public funds in county projects.
The Commission has not disclosed further details.
