President William Ruto arrived Thursday morning at the Union Buildings in Pretoria, South Africa, ahead of a scheduled meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Ruto is in the country on a three-day State Visit and is accompanied by First Lady Mama Rachel.

Following his arrival, Ruto was received by Ramaphosa before he inspected a guard of honour mounted by the military.

He was then accorded a 21-gun salute.

The Head of State was expected to hold bilateral talks aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries with the host and later address the press.
