Applicants are required to submit a national identity card, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, supporting documents and testimonials, as well as a detailed curriculum vitae with three referees.
NLAS directed applicants to access detailed job descriptions on its website and submit their applications electronically through the designated recruitment email.

It also noted that only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted, warning that "Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification."
NLAS further stated that it is an equal opportunity employer and does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the leadership and integrity requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution before receiving appointment letters.
They will be expected to present clearance certificates from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, a Credit Reference Bureau and the Higher Education Loans Board, or provide proof of ongoing HELB loan repayments where applicable.
