The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Staff Pension Scheme has announced a recruitment exercise aimed at filling four vacant positions within the organization.
The scheme is seeking to recruit qualified, results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced professionals with high integrity to strengthen its workforce and enhance service delivery.
According to the advertisement, the available positions include Administrative Assistant, ICT System Administrator and Support Officer, Pension Officer – Administration, and Procurement Officer.
Each position has one vacancy, bringing the total number of advertised posts to four. Interested candidates are advised to review the detailed job descriptions and qualifications available on the KRA website before submitting their applications.
The recruitment process will be conducted entirely online through the KRA e-recruitment portal. Applicants are required to create an account using a valid email address, complete their registration, and activate their accounts through an email confirmation link.
Once logged into the Applicant Cockpit, candidates are expected to create or update their profiles by providing accurate personal and professional details and attaching all required documents in PDF format.
They can then access the available vacancies, review the job descriptions, and submit their applications electronically.
KRA has set 10 August 2026 at 11:59 p.m. as the deadline for receiving applications. The authority has cautioned applicants against providing false or misleading information, noting that presenting fake certificates or misrepresenting qualifications will lead to automatic disqualification.
It further emphasizes that canvassing is prohibited and that only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Successful applicants will be expected to comply with the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution by presenting several clearance certificates. These include a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a valid clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a valid Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), and a current credit report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
The KRA Staff Pension Scheme has reaffirmed its commitment to equal employment opportunities by encouraging applications from both men and women, persons with disabilities, marginalised groups, and members of minority communities.
The organisation has also clarified that it does not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or recruitment fees at any stage of the hiring process, warning applicants to be cautious of fraudsters demanding payment.
Candidates experiencing challenges during the application process have been advised to contact the scheme through the official recruitment email provided in the advertisement.
By opening these vacancies, the KRA Staff Pension Scheme aims to attract competent professionals who will contribute to the effective administration of the pension scheme while upholding professionalism, accountability, and integrity in service delivery.
