The available positions include Director of Registration and Licensing, Corporate Secretary and Director of Legal Services, Director of Corporate Services, Deputy Director of Research, Strategy, Planning and Performance Management, and Deputy Director of Human Resources and Administration.
The council is also seeking to recruit a senior corporate communication officer, corporate communication officer, two registration and licensing officers, two education and examination officers, two standards and compliance officers, two customer care assistants, an office administrator and two office assistants.
Established under the Nurses and Midwives Act, Cap 257 of the Laws of Kenya, the Nursing Council of Kenya is mandated to regulate nursing education and practice to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services through competent nursing and midwifery professionals.
According to the advertisement, detailed job descriptions, qualifications and application requirements are available on the council's official website and the MyJobsInKenya recruitment platform.
Interested applicants have been directed to submit their applications electronically through the Council's official recruitment email.
The council said applications must be combined into a single PDF document and submitted before the close of business at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026.
The council emphasised that it is an equal opportunity employer committed to promoting diversity in its workforce in line with the constitution. It encouraged women, persons living with disabilities and members of marginalised communities who meet the qualifications to apply.
NCK also noted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted during the recruitment process and warned that canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification.
