The Public Service Commission (PSC) has launched recruitment
for Cohort 9 of the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) for the
2026-27 financial year.
The 12-month internship targets graduates who hold a
bachelor's degree, graduated in 2020 or later, possess computer skills and have
not previously benefited from a similar government internship programme.
Successful interns will be deployed to government ministries, departments,
state agencies, corporations and public universities, receive a government
stipend and earn a certificate upon completion. Applications must be submitted
online through the PSC jobs portal by August 17.
The ICT Authority has advertised two vacancies: Corporation
Secretary (re-advertisement) on contract terms and Principal Administration
Officer on permanent and pensionable terms. Applications are to be submitted
online through the ICT Authority recruitment portal by August 11, 2026.
In a separate notice, the ICT Authority, under the Kenya
Digital Economy Acceleration Project (KDEAP) funded by the World Bank, has
extended the deadline for submission of bids for the provision of broadband
internet capacity to selected government sites. The new submission deadline is August
4 at 10:00 am.
The Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the
Ombudsman) has also announced an employment opportunity for the position of
Personal Assistant to the Commission Secretary/CEO at its headquarters.
Applications must be submitted through the commission's e-recruitment portal by
August 11, with hard-copy applications not accepted.
Meanwhile, the National Construction Authority (NCA) has
issued a final reminder to contractors to renew their 2026-27 Annual Practising
Licences before the renewal window closes on July 31, 2026.
Contractors who did
not attend training during the 2025-26 financial year are required to earn 10
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points before renewing their
licences.
The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) has invited
consultancy firms to submit Expressions of Interest for consultancy services
aimed at assessing the economic viability and developing an operational model
for 214 Constituency Industrial Development Centres (CIDCs) across the country.
Interested firms have until August 17, 2026, at 11:00 am to submit
their proposals.
The notices form part of ongoing government efforts to
recruit skilled personnel, strengthen public service delivery, enhance digital infrastructure,
support enterprise development and ensure compliance within the construction
sector.
