It has emerged the ex-county boss had allegedly declined to engage his successor after the new regime stopped doing business with his hotels. The radical move almost drove the hotels to their knees. And the former governor, who had vowed not to engage the new boss due to deep-rooted political differences, has nearly been reduced to a beggar.
