A COUNTY BOSS infamous for his unending beef with almost all elected leaders is at it again.
The man, who is no stranger to controversy, has reportedly recruited youths in almost all wards with the main agenda of ensuring his critics do not address any function, including funerals.
So bad is the situation that some leaders, who had declared interest in the county’s top seat, are now keeping off functions to avoid embarrassment in the hands of the youths.
With the drumbeats getting louder by the day, some quarters are now worried the situation might get worse ahead of the election.

STILL ON COUNTY politics, a deputy governor from a devolved unit in the larger western region has become a concern for his friends and family over his love for the bottle.
While his tendency is not a surprise, the man has reportedly become functionally delinquent, triggering whispers of being forced into rehab.
He frequently drinks until he blacks out and his bodyguard and driver are forced to carry him to his car.
In other times, he forces the aides to stop on the side of the road to relieve himself, regardless of passersby.

A POLITICO WHO bagged a senior role at a state agency is reportedly at loggerheads with colleagues, barely months into taking up the post.
The fellow is the talk in the agency’s corridors for his alleged huge appetite for ‘facilitation’ to give suppliers business.
Corridors of Power is apprised that concerned authorities are giving an ear to the lamen- tations, sending the officer into a panic.
We are told those pursuing the matter want the officer terminated.

JUST WHY IS a broke legislator so bitter with a senior government official?
Corridors understand the lawmaker is angry after the top man denied him an opportunity to travel abroad at taxpayers’ expense.
