The Global Risks Perception Survey (GRPS) has served as the foundation for the Global Risks Report for nearly 20 years and remains a key source of original data on global risks from the World Economic Forum.
This year’s GRPS gathered insights from 1,490 experts spanning academia, business, government, international organizations, and civil society, offering a comprehensive view of the shifting global risks landscape.
Data for the GRPS 2023-2024 was collected between September 4 and October 9, 2023.
A "global risk" refers to the potential for an event or condition to occur that could significantly harm a large portion of global GDP, population, or natural resources.
