An Infotrak survey released on February 11, 2025, highlights counties with the lowest ratings in housing, lands, and settlements performance.
Kwale, Mombasa, Nandi, Kericho, Laikipia, and Migori all scored 42 per cent.
Meanwhile, Lamu, Machakos, Kajiado, Baringo, Turkana, Kakamega, Vihiga, and Busia recorded 41 per cent.
These rankings indicate challenges such as inadequate housing, poor urban planning, and limited land reforms.
Some of these counties face infrastructural constraints, population pressure, and land management issues that hinder development.
