John Methu is the current Nyandarua Senator, elected in the 2022 General Elections under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket.
At 33 years old, he holds the distinction of being the youngest Senator in Kenya’s 13th Parliament.
His political journey began with a failed attempt for the Nyandarua Senate seat in 2017 under the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party, but his persistence paid off five years later.
