    The most common methods include social engineering, where scammers pose as Safaricom staff to gain trust, and SIM swap fraud, where they trick customers into revealing information that leads to losing control of their lines.

    Physical fraud involves fraudsters registering SIM cards and collecting sensitive details while drugging scams target victims who unknowingly lose their money.

    If defrauded, report the incident immediately to Safaricom via Zuri, send an SMS to 333, or use the Safaricom app.

    You should also report to the police to increase awareness and prevent future fraud cases.
