Statista has highlighted the world's ten largest countries by total area, measured in square kilometres.
Russia tops the list with a vast expanse of 17,098,242 square kilometres, followed by Canada (9,984,670 sq km) and the United States (9,833,517 sq km).
China and Brazil round out the top five, with areas of 9,396,960 and 8,515,770 square kilometres, respectively.
Australia, India, Argentina, Kazakhstan, and Algeria complete the top ten.
