As police responded to the scene, a man walked to the Kasarani police station and surrendered over the murder.

Police processed the scene and moved the body to the mortuary pending autopsy.

The suspect was detained ahead of planned arraignment where police plan to ask for more days pending the outcomes of the probe.

The motive of the incident is yet to be disclosed.

Elsewhere in Embakasi, a man was stabbed to death by his wife in a fight.

Police said they were informed of the death by staff at the Bristol Park Hospital where the victim had been rushed to after the tragedy.

According to Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei, one Fredrick Odhiambo had a quarrel with his wife in their house when the stabbing happened.

Police said the woman used a kitchen knife to attack the man killing him.

He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed.

The woman was later arrested and the killer weapon was recovered from the house. Police link the fight to domestic differences.

Police are investigating two separate incidents of sudden death.

The first one happened in Kahawa West where the body of Francis Kanyiri, 39, was found in a vacated house.

Police said there were vomits at the scene. The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.

In Mutuini, Dagoretti, the body of Gilbert Mwai was found in his rented house long after he had died.

Some of them are caused by heart attacks, police say.
