Man escapes after fatally stabbing girlfriend in Kasarani

A middle-aged man is on the run after he reportedly stabbed and killed his girlfriend in a suspected love triangle saga in Kasarani area, Nairobi.

The body of the woman was found in a pool of blood in the man’s house.

He is the son of a known landlord, police said of the Friday night November 1 incident.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.

Police said they are looking for a known suspect and hope to get him soon.

“He is known and is on the run. We urge him to surrender,” said an officer aware of the probe.

Meanwhile, a 46-year-old woman collapsed and died in her room in a lodging in Nakuru Town.

The woman had booked a room on October 29 at about 6 pm and went in alone.

As she was checking in she developed breathing difficulties and collapsed.

She died minutes later, attendants at the joint said.

Police were called to the scene and found the body on the floor.

Police said they recovered assorted medical drugs from her bag indicating she was unwell.

The body was moved to the Nakuru Annex County mortuary awaiting autopsy.

And detectives in Njoro, Nakuru County are investigating murder in a case where a human body was found on the roadside.

Police officers who were on patrol duties found the lifeless body of an unknown male adult along the road having multiple head cuts, his left hand chopped off at the wrist.

The body was moved to the Egerton mortuary for preservation and identification, police said of the October 30 incident.

In Matungulu, Machakos County, one Boniface Musyoka, 70 was found lying dead at Kwa Kasee village.

Police officers visited the scene and found the body of the deceased in a thicket.

The body has no physical injuries and an investigation is ongoing to establish the cause of the death, police said.

In Mbooni, Makueni County, a decomposed body of a man was found in a thicket in Kisuvuoni village.

Police said some body parts were mutilated when the body was found on Wednesday.

 The body was moved to the Mbooni sub-county morgue awaiting identification and autopsy.

It is not clear when the victim died and who was behind the same.

Police said they hope to identify him as part of the probe into the incident.
