Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has announced 410 job openings for skilled workers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mutua said that the job opportunities are through a reputable employer.
The opportunities are eight positions for civil foreman, two positions for senior supervisors and 400 positions for steel fixers.
There are 200 positions for shuttering carpenters.
The skilled workers will have a contract of two years which is renewable with six months probation.
The employer will provide free accommodation, food, and transportation.
The employees will enjoy leave, medical cover, and insurance as per UAE labour laws including 30 days of annual leave for every completed year and free air ticket upon completion of the contract.
They will be required to work for 8 hours per day (overtime as per UAE labour laws).
The CS said that physical interviews will take place tomorrow, December 6, 2024, at Kabete National Polytechnic from 8 am to 5pm.
“We encourage all qualified and interested candidates to attend the interviews and take advantage of this opportunity,” Mutua said.
