Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Saturday led a host of senior government officials in participating in the Chepsaita Cross Country held on Saturday.
CSs Soipan Tuya (Defence), Alfred Mutua (Labour) and Deobrah Barasa were also present.
Interior PS Raymond Omollo was also present at the event.
Governor Fernandes Barasa (Kakamega), Jonathan Bii (Uasin Gishu) and Ken Lusaka (Bungoma) were also among the participants.
Several members of parliament were also in attendance.
The race brought together locals and participants from other parts of the country.
Some of the participants also came from the neighbouring countries.
The Saturday event marked the second time the event was being held.
The race was founded by President William Ruto's aide.
