Chief Justice Marthe Koome presided over the swearing-in ceremony of new Ipoa commissioners and a commissioner to the Commission of Administration of Justice (CAJ) at the Supreme Court on Monday.
Nominated Ipoa chairperson Isaac Hassan was sworn into office with other commissars, including former Isiolo County Woman Rep Rehema Jaldesa (2017-2022) and Micah Nyakego Onyiego.
Prior to her nomination, Jaldesa had been appointed Chief Administrative Secretary tourism, Wildlife, and heritage, before the courts termed the positions as null and void.
Former Starehe MP Charles 'Jaguar' Njagua Kanyi, who was nominated by President William Ruto, was also sworn in.
Njagua was nominated to fill one of the two vacant positions of a member at the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ).
