Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Tuesday witnessed the issuance of 1,301 title deeds in Chala Njukini, in Taita Taveta county.

Kindiki said that the issuance of title deeds across the Country is a key deliverable of the Kenya Kwanza Administration, and to achieve this, the state will gazette two new land registries in Taveta and Voi.

The same, he said, will be done in other parts of the country as well.

Kindiki was accompanied by MPs; John Bwire (Taveta), Lydia Haika Mizighi (Woman Representative, Taita Taveta County), Mpuru Aburi (Tigania West), Principal Secretary(Lands) Nixon Korir, and Members of Taita Taveta County Assembly.

Community leaders were also present.
