DP Kindiki meets Nairobi and Murang'a MPs at Karen rsidence

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has held a roundtable meeting with a section of Nairobi and Murang'a lawmakers separately at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi, on January 23, 2025.

According to the DP, they deliberated on the implementation of the priority projects for the two regions this year.

The Nairobi MPs in attendance were TJ Kajwang (Ruaraka), Tim Wanyonyi (Westlands), Beatrice Elachi (Dagoretti North), Felix Odiwuor Jalang’o (Lang’ata), George Aladwa (Makadara), Mark Mwenje (Embakasi West), Esther Passaris (Woman Representative), Anthony Oluoch (Mathare), and Peter Orero (Kibra).

Kindiki later held another meeting with a section of Murang'a MPs. The consultative meeting also deliberated on priority development programmes and projects within the county.

MPs from Murang'a included Peter Kihungi (Kangema), Betty Maina (Woman Representative, Murang’a), Dr. Edwin Mugo (Mathioya), and Veronica Maina (Nominated Senator).

While speaking to Luanda residents earlier, he assured us that he wanted to improve the critical sectors of the economy that would help create livelihoods for citizens countrywide.

Deputy President Kindiki understands the importance of the economic sector to the day-to-day lives of citizens in the country.

During the meetings, the second in command offered certainty to the youth concerning employment and the creation of job opportunities for them. Kindiki said the youth will be able to seek employment and create wealth.

The Deputy President spoke keenly about the purpose of investing in quality across all sectors in the country, saying the government plans to improve infrastructure and invest in the education of learners across the country. 

In his earlier addresses, Kindiki has pronounced himself on the importance of access to high-quality education for children and youths, which he said cannot be ignored due to the need for skilled and qualified individualls in the job market.

DP Kindiki also reaffirmed his support for his boss, President WIlliam Ruto, in his endeavours to take Kenya to the next level.
