The meeting held at his official residence in Karen was to assess progress made in the implementation of development programmes in their constituencies.
The leaders discussed completion of ongoing infrastructural development projects such as roads, last mile electricity connection, water reticulation, markets and County Aggregation and Industrial Parks in the region.

Other issues discussed during the meeting include value
addition programmes for agricultural products and partnerships between MPs and
the national government on availing education infrastructure.
Kindiki urged the Mt Kenya leaders to focus more on development
because time for politics will come.
He added that should they choose politics, the region will
lose three years of life-changing opportunities.
“Focus the region more on development and not politics to
avoid a three-year loss of opportunities,” Kindiki said.
