KPLC: Areas in two counties to face power cuts Sunday

Kenya Power has listed areas in two counties scheduled for power interruption on Sunday, March 2.

In a statement on X, Kenya Power said the interruption is part of network maintenance.

The counties to be affected are Nairobi and Kisumu.

The interruption in Nairobi county will happen between 9 am and 5 pm.

 Nairobi 

The interruption will happen in the following areas;

Parts of Lunga Road, Wundanyi Road; Metro Concept Plastics, Tecno Tanks, Synresins, Rok Industries, Wel Rods Gases, Advance Plastics.

Other areas are Budget Shoes, Uzuri Manufacturers, Halar Industries, Uzuri Foods, Makadara Railways Workshop and adjacent customers.

Kisumu

The power interruption in Kisumu will happen in the following areas;

Muhoroni Town Mtwara: Muhoroni Town, Mtwara, Rose Garden, Koru Market, Kapsamwe, Bishop Okoth, Kaptuyet, Kadenge Booster, Ushirika, Kotetini, Mariwa, Kapkluben Coffee and adjacent customers.

The interruption will happen between 8.30 am - 5 pm.
