Ugandan artists showcase at second East African exhibition in Nairobi

25 curated works from 10 contemporary and modern Ugandanartistswas on display during the second East African Exhibition at the Circle Art Gallery, Lavington.The exhibition dubbed “Kampala Contemporary”, opened last week Wednesday andshowcases a diverse range of media including painting, installation, video and photography.

was on display during the second East African Exhibition at the Circle Art Gallery, Lavington.

The exhibition dubbed “Kampala Contemporary”, opened last week Wednesday and

showcases a diverse range of media including painting, installation, video and photography. It has been curated by Nicola Elphinstone and Robinah Nansubuga. The artists featured include Henry Mzili, Xenson, Denis Mubiru, Paul Ndema, Immy Mali, Papa Shabani, Mukiza, Timothy Erau, Eria ‘Sane’ Nsubuga, and Stacey Gillian.

It will be on display until May 14.
