It was song and dance after Kenyan behemoths Gor Mahia rallied from a goal down to thump Nairobi City Stars 4-1 on their way to a historic 20th Kenyan Premier League title at Moi Stadium, Kasarani on Sunday.
Samuel Kapen fired City Stars into the lead in the 48th minute but Benson Omalla restored parity two minutes later.
Peter Lwasa, Austin Odhiambo and Alpha Onyango then sealed the title for K’Ogalo with splendid efforts in the 63rd, 81st, and 89th minutes respectively.
Elsewhere, Tusker’s emphatic 4-0 win over Vihiga Bullets at Mumias Sports Complex was not enough to fire them to the title as they wrapped up the season second, just a point behind K’Ogalo.
