Health Cabinet Secretary nominee Susan Wafula on Wednesday appeared before the National Assembly Committee on Appointment for vetting.
She was dressed in a black dress with a green blazer.
Wafula said she is worth Sh101 million.
"My net worth is about Sh101 million composed of a town house that I own in Syokimau and land in Kangundo. I have land in Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Kakamega county," she said.
Wafula holds a degree in Pharmacy from Turkey but was not registered by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
While clarifying why she did not include her degree in her folder, she said this is due to the difference in regularities between the two countries.
She has worked in healthcare firms including Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (KEMSA), where she was an intern, AAR Healthcare, Nairobi Women’s Hospital and the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
Wafula is a seasoned supply chain professional with more than 15 years of global and multicultural experience in agile and intelligent supply chains and operations in the healthcare industry.
She was the last nominee to be vetted on Wednesday.
