Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday visited the family home of his driver Sammy Cheborgey during his two-day visit to Nandi County.

Gachagua described Sammy as a loyal and committed servant who has worked with him for the last 15 years.

"He has been a blessing to me and my family. He has stuck with me even at my lowest moments, covered my back like a younger brother," Gachagua said.

"He has lived in my home for those many years hence, my visit to also know his home. Loyalty and commitment must count for something."

During the visit to Sammy's home on the outskirts of Kapsabet Town, the DP met and shared a meal with his family, friends and village mates.
