Queen Camilla was on Wednesday handed a range of gifts when she visited Commonwealth war graves in Kariokor.
Women who had turned up to witness the occasion gifted the Queen a range of accessories, including Maasai necklaces and a Maasai wooden walking stick.
They said the gesture was aimed at making the queen remember the women's museum in Nairobi.
Queen Camilla had accompanied His Majesty King Charles III where they lay a wreath of flowers in honour of fallen soldiers.
They were welcomed by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
Daniel Achini, the manager of the Commonwealth war graves commission in Kenya and East Africa was also present.
Their Majesties' landed in Nairobi on Monday night for their four-day State visit.
This is the first time he has visited the country after coronation
Their Majesties' will visit several parts of the country including Nairobi, Mombasa, and adjacent counties. Their tour will end on November 3, 2023.
