KPLC: Areas in four counties to face power cuts Saturday

Kenya Power has listed areas in counties scheduled for power cuts on Saturday.

The power interruption will facilitate system maintenance.

The areas will experience a power interruption from 8am to 5pm.

The counties to be affected include Nairobi, Machakos, Vihiga and Nyeri.

Nairobi

Areas in Nairobi will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Syokimau Railway Station and adjacent customers.

At the same time Mitchell Cotts Group, Swissport Kenya, Airflo, Crowne Plaza, Vegro, DB Shenker, Air Connection, Kunhe+ Nagel, Four Points Hotel, Airport Trade Centre, Global Freights Logistics, KAA, Siginon Aviation, Acceler, Freight Complex and adjacent customers will also face power interruptions in Nairobi.

Machakos

Parts of Machakos to face power interruption from 9am to 2pm include Gateway Mall, Nation Printers, Multi Mechanical, Doshi, Signode, Soham, Sawada Villas, Loneview, Lynwood, Muthama Heights, Shaba, Mwananchi Road, Airport Road, Kiungani Road and Community Road.

Vihiga

Parts of Vihiga set for power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Cheptul Market, Shiru, Kaptech, Muhudu, Sigong'o, Upendo, Musasa Market, Kakubudu, Musunji, Isiru Sec, Jiviriri, Kamulembe and Shaviringa.

Nyeri

Areas in Nyeri will experience power interruptions from 8am to 5pm.

The areas include Othaya Town, Othaya Hosp, Mwai Kibaki Hospital, Othaya Boys, Othaya Girls Gathumbi, Iriani, Kairuthi, Thunguri, Waihara Market, Kabebero, Kihuri Water Treatment, Hon Kibaki Residence, KCB Othaya, Cooperative Bank, Family Bank, Equity Bank and adjacent customers.
