Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua announced his immense pleasure after receiving grassroots leaders from Meru County at his Wamunyoro home on Saturday.
He said the visit was an opportunity for the leaders to share insights and updates on the ongoing efforts to establish a new political party.
“This morning, I had the immense pleasure of hosting grassroots leaders from the land of my mother—Meru County—at my Wamunyoro residence. Their visit was a crucial opportunity for us to share insights and updates regarding the launch of our new political party,” Gachagua stated.
“Together, we will build a party that echoes the voices of all Kenyans, ensuring that everyone feels included and represented.”

The ex-DP has, in the recent past, hinted at unveiling a new political outfit in the near future aimed at unseating President William Ruto during the 2027 general elections following their fallout, which led to Gachagua's impeachment.
