A GOVERNOR FROM one of the counties in the remote areas has allegedly not stepped in his county over the last six months. He has been holding Cabinet meetings in Nairobi and conducting government business remotely. It is not clear why. However, word has it that he is reportedly overseeing multibillion-shilling constructions in the city. He has invested heavily in real estate in the city’s upmarket estates. Rivals gearing to unseat the governor in 2027 are allegedly gathering crucial information to counter his bid.
