For the first time in three East Africa, a continental football tournament will be held jointly in the region by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The hosts were announced after Caf's executive meeting at their headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday.
The African football governing body announced that the 2027 finals would be played in East Africa and Morocco would replace Guinea who were stripped of the rights to host the 2025 finals.
The three EAC countries were competing with bids by Algeria, Botswana and Egypt.
