Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has urged Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to support President William Ruto's initiative for national dialogue.

The dialogue aims at addressing the issues highlighted by Kenyans during the anti-government protests.

Speaking during an interview at JK Live on Wednesday, Kuria said the Wiper party leader should change his mind on the dialogue and join in the conversation that will help Kenya move forward.

"Tomorrow, I am going to place a call to my good friend Eugene Wamalwa and particularly Kalonzo Musyoka, he is such a senior leader in this country," CS said.

This comes after Kalonzo on Wednesday criticized the President's call for dialogue with Gen Z.

“In terms of the Gen Z revolution, it appears that Ruto lacks an understanding of public sentiment. Generation Z does not wish to engage in dialogue. They want action, and Wiper agrees,”  Kalonzo said in a statement after a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

The Wiper leader added that despite the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) being established last year to tackle the issues related to the Finance Bill 2023, the entire process did not effectively address the pressing needs of Kenyans at that moment.

“The current situation in Kenya could have been avoided if the regime had addressed rising living costs and implemented the National Dialogue Committee findings. You don't need dialogue. Dialogue is not required to assess public debt because the Auditor General's Office has the same role,” Kalonzo said,
