Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday led the congregation in ACK Diocese of Embu in a song.
The DP, who had visited the church addressed the people before requesting for his songbook to lead the hymn.
Joined by the choir, local leaders, and Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi, the congregation enthusiastically sang along with him.
Gachagua is waiting to know his fate with the Senate, which will hear his impeachment charges on Wednesday and Thursday.
He was successfully impeached in the National Assembly on Tuesday last week, with 281 MPs voting in favour, 44 against and only one abstaining.
All the same, Gachagua urged Kenyans to maintain peace regardless of the outcome of his case.

Trust in the Lord in this journey.
