President William Ruto has condoled with Marsabit MP Naomi Waqo after losing her sister Sarah Darmi Halkano.
The President described Halkano as a kind, focused and hardworking businesswoman.
Halkano has left behind a widower and a daughter Esther.
"Our condolences to Hon. Naomi Waqo on the loss of her dear sister, Sarah Darmi Halkano. She was a kind, focused, and hardworking businesswoman," Ruto said.
"We honour Sarah's life and the many memories she leaves with us. May God grant comfort to her husband Martin, daughter Esther, and the entire family at this painful time. Rest In Peace, Sarah."
Kenyans and leaders joined the President in consoling with the Marsabit MP praying for strength and peace during the trying times.
