The immediate former Ewuaso Enkidongi MCA Justus Ngussur of UDA was declared second Kajiado assembly speaker after beating Azimio's Koin Lompo on Wednesday afternoon.
Ngussur won in the second round of voting after garnering 26 votes against Lompo's 14.
The Kajiado county assembly clerk Leboo Saisa declared Ngussur the winner. There were 20 Azimio MCAs against UDA's 20.
It emerged that six MCAs from the Azimio side voted for the MCA speaker candidate.
