Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has arrived at Kenyatta University for the 52nd graduation ceremony.
The DP was received by KU vice chancellor Paul Wainaina.
Gachagua was accompanied by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and other leaders.
The DP planted a tree before proceeding to the graduation square.
The ceremony is at the Kenyatta University Main Campus Graduation Square along Thika Super Highway.
About 5,500 graduands will be conferred and awarded various Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates.
This marks the second physical graduation ceremony since the Covid-19 pandemic.
In July, KU celebrated its 51st graduation ceremony.
It was steered by the Chancellor Dr Benson Wairegi who conferred degrees and awarded diplomas and certificates at the institution's graduation square.
