In another incident, police are investigating a case of mob justice in Kajiado County.
According to police, an unknown number of thieves entered the homestead of woman identified Lorna Lelikon, stealing six sheep valued at approximately Sh90,000.
Police say following the theft, Lelikon raised alarm, prompting local residents to respond.
“They managed to corner one of the suspects who was subjected to severe violence by the mob,” police said.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the lifeless body of the suspect, bearing multiple injuries.
The police processed the scene and took the body to the City Mortuary for identification and postmortem.
Unfortunately, no stolen sheep were recovered.
