Kirinyaga Woman Representative Jane Njeri Maina has been ranked the most vocal youth speaker in the National Assembly for the year 2024.
A Parliamentary scorecard report released by Mzalendo put the MP ahead of her peers having contributed to debates and other issues of national importance 37 times.
Njeri was followed by Nandi Woma representative Cynthia Muge who spoke 22 times.
Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunj, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna and Yatta MP Basil Robert Ngui tied third spot having contributed to motions and debates 20 times.

The performance was exclusively determined by the number of times individual MPs speak in Parliament (speech counts) and as captured in the Parliamentary Hansard, the official Parliamentary record.
